About the Artisan Gold Plated Collection:

"Artisan Gold Plated" to distinguish it from regular commercial gold plating. After I do all of the metal finishing on my jewelry, I send it to a plating company and order the thickest gold plating available. This is usually reserved for heavy wear objects like belt buckles and rings. The jewelry is plated with 3 microns of gold, basically, 3 times the amount of gold in common gold plated jewelry. This ensures the piece will look and act like gold, never dulling or wearing off with normal use. So don't be afraid of the Gold Plated pieces, no one will ever know they are plated and not solid!
